L.E.T. G.O.™ of Toxic Relationships

My thoughts on Dr Perry’s advice…

Toxic relationships can kill a person’s creativity at best and ruin your entire life or possibly even kill you at worst.

I have struggled with getting entangled in such relationships throughout my life. As I’ve gotten better at choosing my friendships and people I devote attention and energy to, my creativity and vitality have returned.

Unfortunately, I still have one kind of major one that, without going into detail, is easier said than done to sever. This relationship continues to challenge my health, my creativity, and even my sanity at times. I find Dr. Perry’s advice here helpful in maintaining balance and sanity until I can find a way out.

If you’re struggling with toxicity in any of your relationships, I hope you too can find ways to support yourself in not allowing them to consume your life.

Take good care. Enjoy life. What else is it for!? We certainly do not exist to play parts in other people’s dramas.

Xo,

Julie

Just one final thought: if you think this is about you, it’s probably not! That would mean you are a thoughtful enough person to consider it, which a truly toxic person generally is not. Take care and be gentle with yourselves.
