Rose’s Midnite

This midnite tangle,

Rose’s upon your rooftop.

Your roots down my dress.

This wee poem is a response to Lillian’s prompt on the dVerse Poets Pub to “let your words be your paintbrush!”

This in collaboration with Catrin Welz-Stein, who generously offered four of her spectacular works of art for inspiration. Thank you, Catrin! I feel honoured to have my writing anywhere near your work.

I love this idea. Thanks for the prompt, Lillian and https://dversepoets.com/.
