The joy of cycling—that feeling of freedom and you had when you rode your bike as a kid? For those who don’t already know, it’s still there when you grow up.
This conversation in paint is about the shared enjoyment of cycling. Dan holds the camera, Christina zooms around the track on a sunny day, and there is a brilliant energy about the whole thing. There is something incredible about seeing a friend or loved one enjoy something you love, like fishing, paddle boarding, or a good book… or cycling. They now know what you know, which cannot be fully described in words.
It’s one of those, you have to be there things. Awesome. Incredible. Wow. Just words. But what you can see on your gal’s or pal’s or guy’s face? That… exactly… right there.
For the whole story of the approaches, techniques, and deep thoughts that went into this painting, have a read of my post Christina “Bites the Dust”… Conversation in Paint No. 2.
